Specifically an English Ale,not bitter Stomps,usually Bass Ale.Hence the term Black and Tan to note the British Paramilitary force of said name.
Half and half is lager and Guinness,Black Velvet is Champagne and Guinness,usually substituted with Cider by the heathens these days.

Guinness has been my drink of choice for many years but I hate it when once day a year you suddenly get thousands of people drinking it and obviously not particularly enjoying it either. Bloody glory supporters!
